Can I use a red registration plate (German trade plate) when I buy a vehicle from you?

Yes, this is possible subject to agreement with the German insurer.

If I buy a foreign car, how do I get Dutch registration?

This is part of our service. We can apply for a Dutch license and put the new registration in your name.

Where can I register the vehicle on my name after the purchase?

We can arrange this for you right away. Kleyn Trucks has the authority given by the RDW to 'Ascript' vehicles. This allows us to register a Dutch plate on the name of the new owner after selling the vehicle to him/her.

How do I obtain an export registration plate?

We arrange this for you. There are 4 options:

Dutch export registration plate

Only available for vehicles with a valid Dutch vehicle safety inspection (APK) certificate
Valid for 14 days in all countries
Immediately available on working days
Price: €75 - €125 (including insurance)

Dutch in-transit registration plate

For vehicles with a valid technical inspection certificateficate
Valid for 14 days
Delivery 3 working days
Price: €175 - €250 (including insurance)

German Kurzzeit plates

Possible German all vehicles with a vehicle safety inspection (APK) certificate
Valid for 5 days (4 days driving)
Delivery 1 working day
Price: €150 (including insurance)

German Zoll plates

Possible German all vehicles with valid TUV
Valid for 14 days up to a month
Delivery 3/4 working days
Price: €250 (including insurance)
